RetroChlor Chlorinators are designed to replace your existing salt water chlorinator, with no plumbing changes, within a couple of minutes.
With your RetroChlor chlorinator you get a new electrolytic cell and control box with output cables. All you need is the cell housing from your existing chlorinator.
To install the RetroChlor:
- Remove the old chlorinator control box from the wall and hang the RetroChlor control box in its place.
- The next step is to remove your old cell from its housing and insert the new RetroChlor electrolytic cell in there instead.
- Now connect the RetroChlor output cable to the electrolytic cell terminals on one end and to the control box at the other end.
- The last step is to plug your pump into the RetroChlor control box and program the timers.
All that’s left to do now is to start enjoying your clear, clean pool water again.
